Voters in Bernalillo County will have the chance to pick up “I Voted” stickers featuring artwork created by Albuquerque Public Schools (APS) students when they go to the polls this year. The initiative is part of an ongoing collaboration between APS and the Bernalillo County Clerk’s Office.

Last year, APS students submitted over 200 designs for a sticker contest organized by the county clerk. Building on that response, six new student-created designs from last year’s submissions are being added to the selection available at polling locations. These join several popular designs from the 2024 General Election.

Clerk Michelle S. Kavanaugh commented on the program: “The creativity and effort these students put into their designs was amazing,” says Clerk Michelle S. Kavanaugh. “We wanted to highlight more of their artwork and continue sharing their talent with the community.”
