New Mexico United has announced a partnership with the Junior League of Albuquerque (JLA) to address diaper needs for families across the state. The collaboration aims to raise awareness and provide support to local families who struggle to afford enough diapers.

According to data, one in two families in the United States faces challenges in purchasing enough diapers for their children. In New Mexico, 37% of children under three years old live in households earning less than twice the federal poverty level.

The JLA’s Diaper Bank has distributed more than 20,000 diapers this year through ten partner organizations serving Albuquerque families. As part of the new initiative, New Mexico United is encouraging fans and community members to donate new, unopened packs of diapers at the team store until October 24th.

Additionally, those attending the October 24th home match can bring diaper donations directly to the stadium. Monetary contributions are also being accepted through jlabq.org/diaper-bank.

"This initiative is part of New Mexico United’s continued commitment to supporting families and building stronger, healthier communities across the state."

"Every diaper makes a difference—and together, we can help ensure that all New Mexico families have the essentials they need."
