Western New Mexico University's Women's Cross Country team placed 16th at the Old Glory Gallop in Dallas, Texas. Aubrey Lazoya led the team, finishing 21st individually with a time of 18:17.38. Vanessa Dominiguez completed the course in 19:33.22, followed by Jeanette Rivera at 20:19.06. McKenna Sahd finished in 20:49.54, and Isabella Medina crossed the line at 21:10.99.
The team is preparing for its next competition at the Lone Star Conference meet, scheduled to take place in Richardson, Texas on October 25.
