WICHITA FALLS, TX – The Western New Mexico University Mustangs competed in the 2025 ITA Division II Men's South Central Regional Championships on Thursday. Yannik Rogulski won his first-round singles match with a score of 6-1, 6-4. Mael Houee advanced in the second round after a 6-2, 7-5 win, following a loss in his opening match (4-6, 5-7).
David Guta also participated but was defeated in both of his matches: first by scores of 0-6, 0-6 and then by 7-6 (7-2), 1-6, and 7-10. Rogulski lost his second-round singles match with scores of 4-6, 0-6.
In doubles play, Houee and Rogulski teamed up but were eliminated after losing their first round (3-8) and second round (6-8) matches.
Houee is scheduled to continue competing at the ITA event on Friday.
