Chicken Salad Chick is expanding its presence in New Mexico with the opening of a second restaurant in Albuquerque. The new location at 2100 Louisiana Blvd. NE, within Winrock Town Center, will officially open on September 23. The first 100 guests will receive free chicken salad for a year.

Jennifer Sanchez and Keith Murray, who own and operate the Albuquerque branch, are leading this expansion. Sanchez previously worked as a franchise business consultant for Chicken Salad Chick before deciding to bring the brand to her hometown. Their first restaurant opened in April 2024 at 10621 Unser Blvd. NW.

The grand opening week will feature several promotions and giveaways, including free chicken salad for a year for the first guest in line on September 23, along with other daily specials throughout the week.

"We're proud of our amazing team," said Jennifer Sanchez. "Over the past year, so many of our guests have asked us to open closer to their neighborhoods."

Scott Deviney, CEO and president of Chicken Salad Chick, expressed enthusiasm about the new location: "Winrock Town Center is the perfect location for us to introduce more guests to the Chick experience."

The Albuquerque - Winrock restaurant offers dining options including take-out and delivery services. The team plans to support local causes such as St. Felix Pantry through fundraising events.
