Titan Development has started construction on a new hotel and food hall located on Central Avenue near Presbyterian Hospital in Albuquerque. The groundbreaking event took place after several months of preparation, with Titan partner Kurt Browning and Mayor Tim Keller present to mark the occasion.
Terri Cole, president and CEO of the Greater Albuquerque Chamber of Commerce, commented on the significance of the project. “This development represents more than just new business — it’s a vital community asset that will directly serve our dedicated health care workers and patients. Congratulations to the Titan team,” said Cole.
The planned Residence Inn by Marriott will be five stories tall and feature 126 extended-stay rooms. The food hall, named Highlands Central Market, will occupy the bottom floor and include space for about 12 vendors. According to Titan Development, this food hall will connect with the ground level of SpringHill Suites by Marriott next door—a property also developed and owned by Titan along with Maestas Development Group.
Construction is expected to be completed by late 2026. During this phase, approximately 125 people will be employed in building the facility. Once open, the hotel and food hall are projected to create around 40 permanent jobs.
This project is part of a broader master mixed-use redevelopment plan that Titan has been working on for over ten years.
The Greater Albuquerque Chamber of Commerce offered congratulations to Titan for advancing its vision for improving quality of life in Albuquerque.
