The event, which aims to highlight the base's contributions to the Albuquerque economy and the broader region, is scheduled from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Greater Albuquerque Association of Realtors, located at 1635 University Blvd. NE.
Since it began operations in 1942, Kirtland Air Force Base has played a key role in New Mexico's economy. The upcoming report will focus on the ongoing impact of the Kirtland National Security Complex.
Sandia National Labs Director Laura McGill and Kirtland Air Force Base Commander Col. Justin Secrest are expected to attend as featured guests.
