Central New Mexico Community College (CNM) is seeking local businesses in Albuquerque to take part in its Fall Job-Shadow Program, scheduled from October 29 through November 5.

The program offers students a one-day, three-hour opportunity to observe and learn about career paths that fit their interests and studies. Activities for participating students may include observing daily work routines, touring facilities, attending meetings or activities, and other experiences relevant to their chosen fields.

Businesses that join the program can contribute to developing the future workforce while also gaining visibility for their organizations. Other benefits highlighted by CNM include the chance to showcase organizational operations and challenges, inspire local talent, and provide coaching and leadership opportunities for employees.

The Greater Albuquerque Chamber of Commerce has expressed support for the initiative. "The Chamber is excited to lend a hand for the program, which runs Oct. 29 through Nov. 5," according to a statement from the organization.

Companies interested in participating can find more information or sign up on CNM’s website.
