Josh Brown has announced his resignation as Assistant Athletics Director for Communications at Western New Mexico University, effective July 31, 2025. Brown joined the university in July 2023 and contributed significantly to enhancing the department's digital presence and game day experiences.
During his tenure, Brown introduced multi-camera broadcasts for sports such as football, basketball, and softball. He also improved livestream infrastructure and expanded content reach for Mustang student-athletes. "It's been an honor to serve WNMU and be part of a department that truly values its student-athletes," Brown said. He expressed gratitude towards Matt Enriquez, coaches, staff, and student-athletes.
Brown is leaving WNMU to pursue a new opportunity in collegiate athletics administration. Interim Director of Athletics Matt Enriquez commented on Brown's departure: "We're thankful for the passion and expertise Josh brought to Mustang Athletics. He made a lasting impact and set a high standard for how we tell our story. We wish him the very best in his next chapter."
