The National Hispanic Cultural Center (NHCC) has unveiled a new logo to mark its 25th anniversary, which will be celebrated in October. The logo is designed to honor the vibrancy of Hispanic nations worldwide and the Center's role in preserving arts, history, and language.

"This logo showcases the beauty and diversity of our shared cultures and communities," said NHCC Executive Director Zack Quintero. He emphasized the Center's commitment to uplifting cultural events and traditions over the past 25 years. "We’re proud to pay homage to that work done by incredible artists, poets, musicians, performers, historians, and most importantly our staff."

The logo features colorful flowers from Spanish-speaking countries, including Spain’s carnations and Mexico’s dahlias. It also incorporates marigolds, significant in Día de los Muertos celebrations. NHCC Graphic Designer Katie Rooke created each flower using Adobe Illustrator. Her design was chosen from four finalists by Center staff, visitors, and supporters.

The new logo will be used in promotional materials for the Center's programming leading up to its anniversary celebration. The NHCC opened in October 2000 and plans a kickoff party on Saturday, Oct. 25.

The National Hispanic Cultural Center focuses on preserving Hispanic culture through various programs and partnerships with external organizations. Located on a 20-acre campus in New Mexico, it includes an art museum and other cultural facilities.
