Octavia Fellin Public Library in Gallup, New Mexico, has announced an open position for a Library Supervisor. The role will be based at the library’s location on 115 West Hill and reports to the Library Director or their designee.

Applicants must have a high school diploma or GED. Additional requirements include either an accredited degree in Library or Information Science or six years of experience working in a public library. Candidates should also have four years of customer service experience, two years of supervisory experience, and two years of direct work with purchasing and procurement. A valid driver’s license that meets city insurability standards is necessary, and candidates must pass a background check.
Preferred qualifications include skills in word processing and data entry, experience handling accounts payable and receivable, creating complex schedules, and processing payroll.
