Nusenda Credit Union has announced its return as the official financial sponsor of the 2025 NB3 Matchplay at Twin Warriors.

The NB3 Matchplay, a collegiate golf competition, is hosted by four-time PGA Tour winner Notah Begay III and presented by the Pueblo of Santa Ana. The event aims to support Native youth and communities through sports and wellness initiatives. According to the New Mexico Activities Association, the tournament will be nationally televised on the Golf Channel on October 7 and 8, 2025. It will also feature an autograph area for high school and junior golfers to meet collegiate athletes.

Michelle Dearholt, President and CEO of Nusenda Credit Union, emphasized the significance of the event, stating, "This tournament is a gift to the community and signifies Notah’s dedication to our youth and our student programs." The event is open to the public with free admission, with proceeds supporting the work of the NB3 Foundation in creating opportunities for Native youth through culturally rooted health and wellness programs.

The 2025 NB3 Matchplay will include eight NCAA Division I golf teams—four men's and four women's programs—in a round-robin match play format. Each team will compete in three matches, earning points toward the overall championship title. The men's teams are from the University of New Mexico, University of Oregon, University of Nevada Las Vegas, and New Mexico State University; while the women's teams represent the University of New Mexico, University of Arizona, Texas A&M University, and New Mexico State University.

Founded in 1936 by eight educators as the Albuquerque Public Schools Federal Credit Union, Nusenda Credit Union has evolved into New Mexico’s largest credit union by membership and assets. Headquartered in Albuquerque, it serves hundreds of thousands of members across more than 30 branches throughout New Mexico and West Texas.
