The Indian Pueblo Cultural Center (IPCC) has inaugurated the Indian Pueblo Entrepreneur Complex (IPEC), a new facility aimed at providing workspace for general businesses. The opening took place on August 23, 2024.
IPEC's Commercial Kitchen is designed to support New Mexico’s food and agriculture industries. The kitchen includes a 7,500-square-foot workspace equipped with cold storage and transportation, a test kitchen, high-volume fresh produce processing and production areas, and general business services. These facilities are available to both Native and local entrepreneurs.
“I’m very proud that the Indian Pueblo Cultural Center is opening the Entrepreneur Complex,” said IPCC President and CEO Michael Canfield. “This complex will support – through facilities and services – the vibrant entrepreneurial ecosystem that exists locally, especially amongst our Pueblo people. I’m deeply grateful for the financial support from federal and state departments as well as the many corporations, foundations, and individuals who believed in this vision. We have built a cultural and business corridor on this campus, and we’re anxious to extend these opportunities to the next generation of entrepreneurs and small business owners.
