Mike Canfield, President and CEO of the Indian Pueblo Cultural Center (IPCC), will retire in early 2025. Canfield, who has been with the organization since 2011, is a member of the Pueblo of Laguna and serves on the Greater Albuquerque Chamber of Commerce board.

During his tenure, Canfield transformed the former Albuquerque Indian School campus into a central hub for business and culture. His efforts in economic development have driven financial success and created numerous employment opportunities for the local community.

Canfield's work has focused on promoting and preserving Pueblo culture. He has served on various boards throughout Albuquerque and New Mexico, advocating for Pueblo culture's importance.

“It has been my absolute privilege to have been an integral part of these organizations for the past 30 years. I count it my highest honor to have been able to serve our 19 Pueblo communities and contribute to the growth here for as long as I have,” Canfield said. “I will always hold this campus close to my heart and be grateful for what it has given me and my family. I am truly thankful to the board and our team who have always supported me.”
