The Las Cruces Police Department’s Community Outreach Team will host its Lunchbox Lemonade season finale this Friday at the Unidad Park Splash Pad.
The Lunchbox Lemonade series encourages Las Cruces residents of all ages to have lunch, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., with the Community Outreach Team at an area splash pad. Participants can visit with team members, discuss police matters, and share their concerns about public safety while their children cool off in the splash pad.
Lunchbox Lemonade will be held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 23, at the Unidad Park Splash Pad, located at 1501 E. Hadley Ave.
Participants are encouraged to bring their own sack lunch. The LCPD will provide free popsicles and lemonade courtesy of a community partnership with Raising Cane’s restaurant.
