New Mexico State University’s Office of Experiential Learning will host the 40th annual Career Expo Fair and Engineering, Science and Technology Fair from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sept. 17-18 at Corbett Center Student Union, third floor. The event is open to NMSU students, alumni, and community members.

Career Expo marks the beginning of the employer recruitment season and is a recognized NMSU tradition as one of the premier career fairs offered by the university. With over 180 employers in attendance, students will have opportunities to engage with companies from across the United States seeking graduates for full-time employment as well as co-op/internship positions.

“We have made great efforts to ensure this fair is inclusive of employers who are seeking to hire all majors across all our outstanding colleges and disciplines,” said Patricia Leyba, director of NMSU’s Office of Experiential Learning.

The fair is open to all majors on both days; however, the Engineering, Science and Technology Fair will be held on Sept. 18, focusing on STEM-related employers as part of Career Expo. All majors are encouraged to attend both days.

In preparation for Career Expo, the Office of Experiential Learning will also host additional events aimed at helping students prepare for the fair. These include the Student Panel: Career Fair 101 at 2:30 p.m. on Sept. 12 in Aggie Lounge followed by the Dress to Impress Fashion Show: Career Edition at 4 p.m.
