Work on a high-pressure natural gas pipeline will temporarily close a portion of Las Alturas Drive beginning Thursday, Aug. 15, 2024.
The work, conducted by a Las Cruces Utilities’ Natural Gas Operations and Maintenance crew, is expected to be completed by Aug. 30. Traffic will be detoured from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. each working day from Las Alturas Drive to Geothermal Drive and onto south Triviz Drive.
Roadrunner Transit and Las Cruces Public School buses will not be affected during the duration of this project. The project is located in City Council District 2.
