The Mesilla Valley Regional Dispatch Authority (MVRDA) has launched a new online reporting system for non-emergency incidents, now accessible to the public at www.mvrda.org. The platform aims to streamline the process of reporting non-emergency incidents, providing residents with a convenient method to request law enforcement, animal control, or code enforcement response.
Community members can file reports from their homes or via cellular phones at any time. Key features of the system include 24/7 accessibility, a user-friendly interface, and immediate confirmation upon submission.
Incidents that can be reported through this system include lost property, vandalism, minor theft, animal complaints, illegal dumping, and other non-emergencies not in progress.
"We are excited to offer this new service to our community," said MVRDA Executive Director Jennifer Gorham. "The online reporting system is part of our ongoing commitment to improve accessibility and efficiency in our operations. It allows us to better serve the public by providing a convenient option for non-emergency reporting, which in turn helps us allocate our resources more effectively."
Residents are encouraged to visit www.mvrda.org for access to the online reporting system and information on qualifying incidents. For emergencies or incidents requiring immediate law enforcement, fire or medical response, individuals should continue to call 911.
