The Santa Fe County Economic Development Division has recently introduced the Regional Development Corporation (RDC) Technology and Manufacturing (TEAM) fund. This initiative aims to provide no-interest loans to manufacturing and technology-based companies in Northern New Mexico. The primary goal of the TEAM Fund is to support the growth of businesses in the region, ultimately leading to job creation, increased revenues, and attracting further funding and investment.

"The TEAM Fund is a testament to RDC's commitment to sustaining and assisting developing businesses in Northern New Mexico," said the spokesperson for the Santa Fe County Economic Development Division. "Our focus is on job creation and diversifying the regional economy."

Eligible for-profit manufacturing or technology businesses headquartered in Los Alamos, Mora, Rio Arriba, San Miguel, Northern Sandoval, Santa Fe, or Taos County can apply for financial assistance of up to $20,000.00 through the TEAM Fund. The application period will run from February 15 to March 17, 2024.

To assist applicants, the TEAM Fund will be hosting information sessions. One such session will take place on Tuesday, February 27th, from 11:00 am to noon at the Santa Fe Business Incubator. These sessions are highly recommended for those interested in applying for the fund.

Carla Rachkowski, the Director of Operations for RDC, is available for further information. She can be reached at carla@rdcnm.org.

This initiative by the RDC is expected to provide a significant boost to the manufacturing and technology sectors in Northern New Mexico. With no-interest loans available, businesses in the region will be able to invest in their growth and contribute to the overall economic development of the area.
