The New Mexico Department of Workforce Solutions (NMDWS) recently announced that the Children, Youth, and Families Department (CYFD), in partnership with NMDWS, hosted a Rapid Hire event in Roswell, New Mexico. The aim was to fill a variety of positions. In preparation for the event, New Mexico Workforce Connection Career Consultants offered assistance to individuals in crafting, updating, and printing their resumes.
The recruitment event took place on Thursday, Jan. 18, 2024, at the New Mexico Workforce Connection located at 67 University Blvd. Representatives from CYFD were present to review resumes and conduct interviews for eligible candidates on-site. Attendees were advised to bring multiple copies of their updated resume, three professional references, proof of eligibility to work in the United States (if applicable), and unofficial transcripts for their highest level of education. Professional attire was recommended for the event.
"Cabinet Secretary Designate Teresa Casados stated that "CYFD provides services focused on strengthening families across the state," according to a press release by NMDWS. She added that "We have several levels of positions available, and our rapid hire events are a great way to join the incredible team at CYFD. I encourage everyone to apply and make an impact in the lives of New Mexico’s children, youth, and families."
