Bernalillo County on early voting and same-day registration for local election

Bernalillo County issued a reminder on early voting and ongoing same-day registration for the regular local election. They emphasized that potential voters still have time to register and take part in the upcoming local election according to a press release by Bernalillo County.

County Clerk Linda Stover encourages individuals who still need to register to vote to take advantage of same-day registration opportunities.

Starting from October 21 until November 4, 20 early voting sites, including a mobile unit, will be accessible for eligible voters. Most of these locations will operate from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., Monday through Saturday. Additionally, same-day registration will be offered during early voting and on Election Day, which is on Tuesday, November 7 according to a press release by Bernalillo County.

“It is not too late to exercise your right to vote,” says Clerk Linda Stove according to a press release by Bernalillo County. “We urge all eligible voters to participate in this democratic process by utilizing the early voting location and same-day registration options available.”

Furthermore, the website reveals that Clerk Stover is responsible for the creation of the Bernalillo County About My County Activity Book. Albuquerque Public Schools incorporated civics teaching into their curriculum, distributing the activity book to all 4th-grade students in the APS system.
