5. MATTERS FROM STAFF
a. Small grant and innovation fund update
The Small Grant and Innovation Fund application and RFA was posted on June 1 , 2023. Applications will be sent to committee members for priority review on 7/10.
b. Human Services Committee vacancy update
City staff are working with the Communications Team to promote the Human Services Committee vacant member position.
6. PRESENTATION
a. Violence Prevention Unit update (Sophie Andar, Youth and Family Services Division Program Manager)
Presentation by Sophie Andar on the progress of establishing the Violence Prevention Unit and the goals for the future.
b. Mobile Integrated Health and Alternative Response Unit updates (Adam Lord, MIHO Case Manager Supervisor; Ramos Tsosie, MIH Paramedic; Nicole Ault, Behavioral Health Director City of Santa Fe Fire Department)
Presentation by Nicole Ault on the challenges the Alternative Response Unit has been facing, how the team has been overcoming these challenges, and how the team continues to provide services to those in need on a regular basis.
