The Executive MBA Class of 2025 has been recently introduced by the University of New Mexico Anderson School of Management, commencing its 24-month program in June, according to a press release. The cohort convenes every other Saturday for full-day classes, including two consecutive online synchronous sessions and two on-campus orientation and immersion weeks, ultimately culminating in May 2025.

"Throughout the program, our Executive MBA students engage in a fast-paced, fully supported learning environment that helps them improve their industry knowledge, confidence, communication and leadership potential, all of which will lead them into the next phase of their careers," Rebecca Diemer, Anderson's senior director of student success, said.

The current cohort stands out for its vibrant composition, with women constituting 46% and underrepresented students of color comprising 38% of the group. Moreover, 23% of the cohort comprises active military personnel or veterans. This diverse and accomplished assembly encompasses various sectors, including financial services, higher education, government, active military and the private industry, showcasing their collective professional background, which surpasses a total of 120 years of work experience, the press release stated.

During the initial year of the program, participants will engage in the foundational Executive MBA core courses, integrating leadership principles with essential business concepts encompassing business communication, statistical analysis and financial reporting. In the subsequent year, students will opt for one of three specialized tracks: Global leadership, diversity leadership or science and technology leadership. Throughout this phase, they will focus on their chosen field of interest and culminate their academic journey with an intensive capstone course during the final semester.

Throughout the duration of the program, students will have the flexibility to balance their demanding professional and personal commitments, allowing them to cultivate vital leadership skills while advancing in their careers. This comprehensive approach not only facilitates skill acquisition but also fosters a strong foundation for making sound, ethical decisions as senior-level directors and managers. As they navigate the educational journey, participants will harness the program's offerings to innovate, make evidence-based choices and uphold ethical standards in their day-to-day work lives, ensuring a lasting impact on their professional growth and the organizations they lead, according to the press release.
