Beatriz “Betty” Silva
Beatriz “Betty” Silva age 98, a 70-year resident of Albuquerque, passed away Tuesday, November 29, 2022. Betty was a homemaker, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great-great grandmother. Betty was born to Pedro and Maria Chavez on August 4, 1924 in Polvadera, NM. Betty is preceded in death by her husband Mike Silva; four brothers Beltran Chavez, Seferino Chavez, Amadeo Chavez, and Henry Chavez; two sisters Alice Pino and Ida Rivera. She is survived by three sons Michael Silva and wife Linda Jackson, William Silva and wife Maggie, Philip Silva, and daughter Melissa Anderson and husband Bruce; eight grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren and one great-great granddaughter. A rosary and mass will be recited on Tuesday, December 13, 2022, at 9:30 am at Holy Ghost Catholic Church at 833 Arizona St. SE, Albuquerque, NM 87108. Interment to follow at 2:00 pm at Santa Fe National Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Holy Ghost Catholic Church or the charity of your choice.
A celebration of life will follow in the Spring of 2023.
