New Mexico Business Coalition has issued the following press release:

New Mexico (November 16, 2022) — The New Mexico Business Coalition (NMBC) announced that it is hosting the Adopt a Family Gift Drive in Albuquerque, NM through December 13, 2022.

Join us in collecting gifts for the children of needy families in Albuquerque this Christmas. Families have been preselected based on income and current living situations, knowing that they need help providing a “Merry Christmas” to their children this year. We compiled a list of the children’s ages and wishes - under $30 each - and have made the list available for donors wishing to help bless a child this year.

Thank you to Le Chantilly Fine Pastries and Flying Star Café locations on Rio Grande, Paseo, and Juan Tabo for hosting donation boxes for this gift drive.  We ask that all gift donations be new and unwrapped so the parents can have the satisfaction of wrapping the items for their children. Cash contributions can be made here or by contacting NMBC directly.

Carla Sonntag, president, New Mexico Business Coalition said, “This is a great opportunity for Albuquerque residents to help create a happier Christmas for children who may otherwise receive nothing. Although this year has been challenging for many, we believe that the community can still come together to support those who are less fortunate.”

Whatever you can donate will make a difference. You can easily get involved by clicking here. We encourage you to donate gifts or cash and share this drive with others, so they can enjoy the gift of blessing others this Christmas season.

Contact NMBC at (505) 836-4223 or david@nmbizcoalition.org with any questions. We love our community!
