Adele Hein Montez passed away on June 19, 2022. A native of Albuquerque, Adele was a long-time employee of Southwest Airlines. Adele is survived by her sons, Chanz Montez and Craig Harlan; brothers, Scott Hein, Steve Hooper, and Fred Hooper. Adele cherished her family and all her grandkids. Her son Chanz wrote this the day after her passing: Heaven gained a Saint yesterday. My mother was one of a kind. She had more love in her soul than any human I’ve ever met. She would move mountains for people she didn’t even know. She was the definition of loyal and she loved every friend and family member with every ounce of love she had, and boy did she have a lot of love! She made me the man I am today. She taught us all the importance of “be kind and gentle”. She’s always kept me safe and sane and shown me a type of unconditional love that I didn’t know was possible. I’ll miss you so damn much lady! I love you so much momma and I will carry you in my heart forever. You will always be with me no matter what. Say hi to John for me. I know he’s guiding you in.
