Albuquerque Police, FBI seek information on San Mateo Walmart robbery

The FBI and Albuquerque Police Department are seeking information from the public concerning a suspect that recently robbed a bank inside of the Walmart Supercenter located on San Mateo Blvd.

KRQE reported that the robbery occurred on Nov. 15 just after 10 a.m., and that the still unidentified suspect is described as being middle-aged, caucasian and in his 50s with a husky build. He is thought to be around 5 feet, 5 inches in height and has shaved blond or red hair, hazel or green eyes, and tattoos on his left hand.

"He wore a dark mask that covered the lower half of his face, and a gray or black flannel long-sleeve shirt over a black shirt that appeared to have the words “Buffalo Blue” in white on it. The suspect presented a demand note to a teller, who handed over an undisclosed amount of money," a press release from the FBI said.
