City of Santa Fe Mayor's Youth Advisory Board met June 17.

a. Approval of June 3, 2021 meeting minutes.
MOTION: Member Pope moved, seconded by Member Gonzales, to approve the minutes as presented.
VOTE: The motion was approved on the following Roll Call vote:
For: Member Gonzales, Member Pope, Voting Member Bowen, Voting Member Esquivel, Voting Member Heikker
Against: None
Abstain: Councilor Cassutt
5. PRESENTATIONS
a. Update on the Southside Teen Center (Regina Wheeler, Public Works Department Director)
MYAB Members received a presentation from Regina Wheeler (Public Works Director), Sam Burnett (Public Works Staff), Sarah Gettler (Boys and Girls Club Staff), and District 3 Councilman Abeyta. The Pubic Works staff presented on the overall design of the project as well as the location, Sarah and Councilman Abeyra presented on the process of deciding the programming in the building which will be with a Youth Council -they requested a member of MYAB be appointed to service on the Youth Council.

Chair Gonzales and Vice Chair Pope did an icebreaker activity with the new members.

a. Committee Assignments
Chair Gonzales walk through the possible sub-committee assignments, they include assisting with the outreach on midtown campus, the teen center and other special projects.
