The meeting of the Santa Fe MPO Technical Coordinating Committee was called to order by Brett Clavio, Chair, at 1:30 pm, via virtual attendance.

3. APPROVAL OF AGENDA

MOTION A motion was made by Mr. Kavanaugh, seconded by Chair Clavio, to approve the agenda as presented.

MOTION A motion was made by Mr. Mortillaro, seconded by Chair Clavio, to approve the minutes as presented.

5. COMMUNICATIONS FROM THE PUBLIC

6. DISCUSSION/ACTION ITEMS

A. RELEASE FOR 30 DAY PUBLIC COMMENT: 2022-2027 DRAFT TRANSPORTATION IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM (TIP)

Ms. Yngve reviewed the staff report in the packet.

Commissioner Hansen asked where the City was with W. Alameda. Can it get on the TIP.

Ms. Yngve said projects cannot get on the TIP unless there is funding allocated to it.

Mr. Rosado said he would have to look up the status of that project.

Commissioner Hansen commented that it is part of the annexation agreement and is a drainage study. Regina Wheeler would know about it.

Mr. Rosado will follow up on that.

MOTION A motion was made by Mr. Mortillaro, seconded by Mr. Kavanaugh, to release the TIP for 30 day public comment.

VOTE The motion passed on a roll call vote as follows:

7. MATTERS FROM THE STAFF

Ms. Yngve said we are going to release our call for projects for TAP, CMAQ and RTP this week. They are available for local agencies. She will be sending out an email with all the information including the schedule for submission.

8. MATTERS FROM THE COMMITTEE

Chair Clavio asked Mr. Aune about the walking audit they will be doing.

Mr. Aune explained that the MPO has sent out flyers to folks on the southside regarding this project. We are hosting this event with the National Park Service this Thursday evening. We will do a walking audit of the area including the Acequia Trail and the conceptional plans for the River Trail. There is a significant investment in connecting those. $10 to $12 million. Also included is the intersection of Agua Fria and South Meadows and other sites.

Chair Clavio said that sounds very interesting, Good job.
