The Month of Sept, Adopt any Adult Animal (6-months and older) for just $50!

Hazel is a lovely mixed-breed girl who came to SFAS when her guardian could no longer care for her. As a reflection of her 11 years of life and experiences, Hazel is mellow and sweet. She was very shy at first here at the shelter but now warms up to people who interact with her. Hazel weighs about 75 pounds and loves going on walks. Playing in big groups of dogs is not her thing, so she might be happiest in a house with another mellow dog or maybe none at all. She’s not looking for much: a person to appreciate her, walks around the neighborhood and maybe a little yard or garden to sniff around and relax in.

If you have other dogs at home, we encourage you to bring them along for a Meet n' Greet.

Hazel's adoption fee is $60. She is spayed and microchipped and has age-appropriate vaccinations. A licensing/microchip fee may apply.

SFAS offers a variety of excellent training classes, community connection events, and workshops led by animal behavior professionals. In-person classes have resumed with COVID-safe practices in place; we will also continue to offer basic classes via Zoom. If you adopted your animal from a shelter or rescue group, you receive a $50 discount on every class. For class descriptions, schedules, and registration visit https://sfhumanesociety.org/training
