Libraries across the state of Albuquerque will be holding Halloween-themed in-person events through Oct. 30 in celebration of the holiday.
With a wide variety of options taking place several times throughout the celebration, events will include a Harry Potter Escape Room, Spooky Story Times with Halloween-themed books, Craft-a-ganza, and more, according to CABQ.
"@theabqlibrary is so excited to have in-person Halloween events this year! Join us and make pumpkins out of old books, gather for a spooky storytime, or puzzle your way out of the escape room," the City of Albuquerque said in a tweet on Thursday.
Most events will take place on weekends, providing ease of access for families to attend various events without conflicting work or school schedules, while a handful of events take place during the week on Tuesdays or Thursdays, according to CABQ.
In addition to the small-scale events, libraries will also be hosting a Fall Festival on Oct. 30, a celebration that includes Halloween costumes as well as fall-themed activities, according to CABQ. There will also be Book Page Pumpkins, where participants can use the pages from old books to craft pumpkins for the fall season.
A full, printable event schedule and guide are available on the Albuquerque city website.
