The Keep ABQ Beautiful Household Hazardous Waste Collection Event for Bernalillo and Albuquerque County residents is scheduled for November.

"SAVE THE DATE: our Household Hazardous Waste Collection Event is happening on Nov. 13. Details on what items you can bring are linked here: cabq.gov/HHW," Keep ABQ Beautiful tweeted. 

The event will run from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. at the Balloon Fiesta Park located at 5000 Balloon Fiesta Parkway NW and is a collaboration by the City of Albuquerque's Department of Municipal Development, Engineering Division, Solid Waste Management Department, Bernalillo County, and Advanced Chemical Transport (ACT).

Accepted items include, but are not limited to, paint, pool chemicals, fertilizers, gasoline, poisons, batteries, and much more. A full list of all items accepted and not accepted can be found on the city's website.
