State representative Yvette Herrell is skeptical immigration officials can monitor the thousands of Haitians that have been released in the United States on a promise to appear for a hearing months from now.

"It makes me so mad because it's really not a mandate," Herrell said on Newsmax.  “It’s more of a suggestion, and no one's going to be able to monitor these people. We don't even know where they're going into the interior of the nation to even be able to keep tabs on them. So again, it's just more of a blunder on the border from this Biden administration."

Nearly 15,000 migrants, mostly Haitians, gathered at the Del Rio Bridge on the Texas border to seek asylum in the United States. Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas said about 12,400 of those people will have their cases heard by an immigration judge. Many of them have been released into the United States and ordered to either appear in court or report to immigration authorities.

"How many do you think will show up?" Herrell tweeted.

She blames the Biden Administration for botching the immigration process.

“These people are all over the interior, our nation, and this administration continues to act as if we don't have a problem,” she said.
