Waldo passed away this Father’s Day. Waldo will be remembered for his kind and gentle spirit, his ability to find joy in the simple things, his strength that he held onto to the last moment, and his love for the great outdoors.
He was preceded his passing by his parents, Waldo Sr. & Julia Ulibarri, In-law’s Jerry & Pita Carrion, sister & brother-in-law Angela & Harvey Phillips, brothers John & Joe Arthur Ulibarri, and niece Melissa West.
Waldo’s surviving family: Wife Priscilla, children Waldo III (Mariah), Dolores Jude Di Salvo, Mia (Naim) Derti, Steven Ulibarri, and Julie Ulibarri. Grandchildren: Felix, Ambrose, Amanda, Aria, and Nicholas. Five great-grandchildren and numerous family members including his brother Leroy Ulibarri and sisters Ramona (Jim) Deaton, and Margaret Ulibarri. Sister-in-law Virginia Ulibarri.
Pall Bearers: Naim Derti, Leroy Ulibarri, Steve Sanderson, Octavio Castaneda, John Ulibarri Jr., and Brian Phillips. Honorary Pall Bearers: Joseph Padilla and Leroy (Tito) Sanchez.
Rosary will be recited on July 5th at 6pm at Rivera Kiva Chapel of Light in Santa Fe. The funeral mass will be held on July 6th at 11am at St. John’s Catholic Church. The burial will be held July 7th at the National Cemetery at 9am.
