Obituary
Leisudis Herrera Ramos was born on September 8, 1983 a guines Cuba of the municipal area of La Habana to Evelio Herrera Garcia and Diana de los Ángeles Ramos Fuentes.
His paternal grandparents are Evelio and Fernandina and his maternal grandparents are Heriberto and Caridad.
Leisudis' primary school was called Manuel Ascunce, in which he attended from preschool to grade 6. He was a good student. From there, he went onto 7th and 9th grade in a school named Heros de Bolivia. He began working at a young age in a cooperative plant known as Cubano Burgara. Leisudis did a lot of farm work, taking care of animals along with other agricultural jobs. He had a love for horses; I have owned several. It was hard work, but it was his hobby.
In 2008, Leisudis decided to abandon his country and immigrate to the United States. He accomplished this with the support of his aunt Elia and uncle Nelson. After one year and one day of being in the United States, he received his permanent resident card. He began working at a restaurant named Gardunos at the Sunport Airport; and from there, at the Marriott on University and Menaul. With the help of his family, in 2011 he was able to achieve the goal of completing his 12th grade education. He made some choices that started to influence his life without him realizing.
The family appreciates all those who have been there for them during this very difficult time. Your presence and kind words have helped the pain I feel. I wish you all the best today and forever. May God bless you.
