Employees at the Central New Mexico Correctional Facility have been recognized for their service milestones and achievements. The New Mexico Corrections Department acknowledged various staff members for their years of dedication and outstanding performance.
Michael Tenorio, who serves as the American Corrections Association Compliance Coordinator, and Jonathan Pendley, a Fire Safety and Sanitation Officer, were honored for five years of service. Sergeant Christopher Gallegos and Correctional Officer Randal Gurule reached eight years of service. Disciplinary Officer Shawn Fairman and Correctional Officer Robert Chavez were recognized for ten years.
Adrian Gallegos marked 12 years as a Correctional Officer, while Andre Padilla and Sergeant Ricardo Ramirez celebrated 13 years. Phillip Romero has served as a Correctional Officer for 19 years, and Anthony Romero reached the 20-year milestone.

In addition to these recognitions, several employees received special awards. Lynnette Rael was named Non-Custody Employee of the Month in July, Trinity Lynch in September, and Michael Tenorio again in October. Lieutenant Anthony de la Cruz was awarded Custody Supervisor of the Quarter, while Unit Manager Hope Benavidez was recognized as Non-Custody Supervisor of the Quarter.
The New Mexico Corrections Department continues to honor its staff's commitment to maintaining safety and security within its facilities.
