Las Cruces Utilities will close temporarily on October 30, 2025, for a departmental safety and team-building event. The closure will occur from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. at all Las Cruces Utilities offices, including the City Hall location at 700 N. Main St., the East Mesa location at 5195 Bataan Memorial West #2, and the LCU Office Center at 680 N. Motel Blvd.
Additionally, Green Waste, Compost, and Clean Fill services located at 555 S. Sonoma Ranch Blvd. will be closed from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., with services resuming from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Despite these closures, payments for utilities such as gas and water can still be made in person at the cashiers’ counter on the first floor of City Hall, located at 700 N. Main St.
Customers are encouraged to conduct business related to utility hookups or disconnections earlier in the week or after the closure ends at 3 p.m. on October 30.
