Voters in Bernalillo County will have a unique way to celebrate casting their ballots this year, thanks to the creative efforts of Albuquerque Public Schools art students. The Bernalillo County Clerk’s Office has included six new "I Voted" sticker designs from APS students in its lineup, alongside popular choices from the 2024 General Election.

The Clerk’s Office received over 200 sticker designs from APS students during last year's contest. Clerk Michelle S. Kavanaugh expressed her admiration for the students' work, stating, "The creativity and effort these students put into their designs was amazing." She added that the office wanted to showcase more of their artwork and continue sharing their talent with the community.

The initiative highlights the collaboration between local schools and government to engage young artists in civic activities. The Greater Albuquerque Chamber of Commerce supports such community initiatives that foster creativity and civic participation among youth.
