Dave's Hot Chicken has opened its first location in Albuquerque, marking the California-based chain's debut in New Mexico. The Greater Albuquerque Chamber of Commerce participated in the ribbon-cutting ceremony for the new restaurant, located at 3703 Ellison Road NW Suite C on the West Side, on October 10.
The chain, known for its spicy chicken offerings, began in 2017 when three childhood friends launched it with just $900 in East Hollywood. The Albuquerque location is expected to employ nearly 100 people. Plans are also underway to open a second location in the city.
The Chamber expressed enthusiasm about Dave’s Hot Chicken joining the local business community and looks forward to its growth across Albuquerque and New Mexico.
