The New Mexico Office of the State Auditor (OSA) has announced an extension for certain draft report due dates related to audits that include a Federal Single Audit. This decision comes in response to the delayed release of the Uniform Guidance Compliance Supplement by the Office of Management and Budget.
In its recent bulletin, the OSA advised agencies requiring a Federal Single Audit to review the updated guidance carefully. The bulletin provides details on which agencies are affected and outlines steps for compliance with the new deadlines.
"Agencies that require a Federal Single Audit should carefully review this bulletin to identify their due date and stay up to date on the evolving situation," stated the OSA in its communication.
Additional information, including specifics about the extensions and guidance, can be found in the official OSA Bulletin -Delayed Uniform Guidance.
