On September 19, 2025, Governor Lujan Grisham announced an upcoming discussion with Utah Governor Spencer Cox at the University of Notre Dame. She wrote, "Happening soon! I’ll be joining Utah @GovCox at the University of @NotreDame for a bipartisan conversation on pragmatic governance and bridging political divides. Click the link below at 11 a.m. MT to watch the discussion live."
Later that day, she posted about the event's completion: "Today at the University @NotreDame, I joined my good friend, Utah @GovCox , for an important conversation about putting pragmatism over politics and restoring civility to our discourse. Thank you to Father Bob Dowd, Dr. Joel Day of Notre Dame’s #Democracy Initiative and everyone" (September 19, 2025).
