Members of D.H. Lescombes Winery & Bistro marked their 20th anniversary in Old Town with a ribbon cutting on August 24, an event supported by the Greater Albuquerque Chamber of Commerce.
D.H. Lescombes has been making wine in New Mexico since 1981, when the family moved from Burgundy, France. The winemaking tradition is maintained by Florent and Emmanuel Lescombes, representing the family's sixth generation in the industry. The main winery operates in the Mimbres Valley near Deming, and the company manages 200 acres of vineyards outside Lordsburg.
The business produces more than 40 wines under various labels such as D.H. Lescombes, Soleil Mimosa, and St. Clair. It also operates six locations throughout New Mexico.
The Chamber recognized D.H. Lescombes for its continued success and contributions to the local community during its month-long anniversary celebration.
