Forward Kevin Gursoy has joined the Toledo Walleye for his first professional season after agreeing to terms for the 2025-26 season. Gursoy, originally from Windsor, Ontario, comes to Toledo following three collegiate seasons at Toronto Metropolitan University. During the 2024-25 season, the 25-year-old scored 28 points with eight goals and 20 assists in 28 games. Over his TMU career, he accumulated 81 points with 31 goals and 50 assists, along with 68 penalty minutes across 83 games. He started his college hockey journey at Ryerson University, where he recorded three points and two penalty minutes in seven games as a sophomore. Before college, Gursoy played in the Quebec Maritimes Junior Hockey League for three seasons, achieving a total of 114 points through 51 goals and 63 assists over 187 games with teams including Saint John, Charlottetown, and Halifax.
