Janice Honeycutt Hering, a former leader of the Greater Albuquerque Chamber's Leadership, Education & Small Business programs, is now pursuing research as a PhD candidate. Her work focuses on how successful leaders navigate high-risk uncertainty. The Chamber supports her new endeavor.

"Janice did a wonderful job leading our Leadership Albuquerque Program for so many years. We’re pleased to help her on her next leadership journey," said Terri Cole, president and CEO of the Chamber.

Honeycutt Hering is seeking Central New Mexico founders, owners, and CEOs to participate in her study by sharing their decision-making experiences. Eligible participants must hold equity as a founder, owner, or CEO; operate within the four-county Central New Mexico region; have run their business since at least 2019; and reported $2 million–$100 million in 2024 revenues.

Participants will engage in two 45-minute confidential interviews and maintain a brief weekly audio journal about high-risk decisions. Interested individuals can contact Janice at j.honeycutthering1@andersonuniversity.edu to secure a spot.
