Titan Development starts construction on hotel and food hall near Presbyterian Hospital

Titan Development has commenced construction on a new hotel and food hall near Presbyterian Hospital in Downtown Albuquerque. The groundbreaking event took place on August 8, with Titan partner Kurt Browning and Mayor Tim Keller in attendance. The project aims to support the recruitment of healthcare workers in the area.

Terri Cole, president and CEO of the Greater Albuquerque Chamber of Commerce, remarked, "This development represents more than just new business — it’s a vital community asset that will directly serve our dedicated health care workers and patients. Congratulations to the Titan team."

The planned Residence Inn by Marriott will be a five-story building featuring 126 extended-stay rooms. The food hall, named Highlands Central Market, will occupy the ground floor and host approximately 12 vendors. It will connect to the neighboring SpringHill Suites by Marriott, also developed by Titan in partnership with Maestas Development Group.

The project is expected to be completed by late 2026. During construction, it will employ 125 people and create around 40 permanent jobs once operational. This development is part of a larger mixed-use redevelopment plan that Titan has been working on for over ten years.

The Chamber expressed its support for Titan's efforts to enhance Albuquerque as a place to live, work, and raise families.
