The Greater Albuquerque Chamber of Commerce has announced that applications are now open for the 2025-2026 Leadership Albuquerque program. The eight-month initiative, set to begin in September, is designed to help professionals develop their leadership skills and deepen their involvement in the local community.
This year’s program will be led by Jeremy Oswald of Citizens Bank as chair, with Leean Kravitz of Fidelity Investments serving as vice chair. Participants will take part in monthly educational sessions that focus on topics such as K-12 education, economic development, public safety and behavioral health, energy and national defense, state and local government, downtown transformation, tourism, culture, and quality of life.
Now entering its 45th year, Leadership Albuquerque aims to prepare future leaders by offering exposure to key community issues and fostering professional networks. According to feedback from the class of 2025, all participants said they would recommend the program to others. Half of the class rated it a “10” on five core aspects using a 1-10 scale. One participant who was new to Albuquerque highlighted how the program helped them quickly understand both community strengths and challenges while building a valuable network.
Applications for the upcoming class will be accepted through August 15, 2025. The Chamber encourages its members to nominate employees for participation in this long-standing program.
Program sponsors include PNM, Jaynes Corporation, French Funerals and Cremations, Citizens Bank, Fidelity Investments, Comcast, and Madrid Wealth Management.
