Bernalillo County is seeking feedback from the business community as it works to shape its economic development program. The county has invited local businesses and residents to participate in a series of public meetings aimed at gathering suggestions for job creation and business expansion.

The initiative, titled “Dynamic Conversations on Economic Development,” consists of three in-person meetings. The events are scheduled for July 29 at Taylor Ranch Branch Library, August 9 at Vista Grande Community Center in Sandia Park, and August 14 at Hiland Theater. Each meeting will provide light food, activities for children, and translation services.

County officials emphasize the importance of collaboration between public agencies and private-sector partners in achieving economic growth goals. According to the announcement, “Creating jobs and expanding businesses in our region is job No. 1, and it takes public and private-sector partnerships to make it happen.”

Community members are encouraged to attend these sessions to share their insights. Organizers say this input will help Bernalillo County and the Greater Albuquerque Chamber of Commerce foster an environment where people can work, live, and raise families.

“Please share your insight and help Bernalillo County and the GACC make our community a great place to work, live and raise a family!”
