The New Mexico Department of Game and Fish has rescheduled its annual leftover license sale. This decision follows technical issues that hindered customers from purchasing licenses through the department's online system on Wednesday morning.
The sale will now commence for New Mexico residents on Wednesday, July 16, at 10 a.m. MDT. Nonresidents will have access to any remaining licenses starting Thursday, July 17, at 10 a.m. MDT.
"We understand we had a technical failure," said Department Director Michael Sloane. "In order to be fair and equitable to all, we are going to re-run the license sale."
Details about the available licenses will be shared with the public in the coming days.
