State Personnel Office automates job architecture project with SHARE team collaboration

The State Personnel Office is collaborating with the Department of Finance and Administration's SHARE team to automate the Job Architecture project. Updates to position and employee job data will take effect on August 2, 2025.

The SHARE team has outlined specific requirements for position actions between July 5, 2025, and August 2, 2025. All updates must have an effective date of July 5 or earlier and be entered into SHARE by July 11. No updates may occur in SHARE HCM until after August 2. Any updates with an effective date after July 5 should be communicated to the SPO Workforce Planning analyst and entered post-August 2. Agencies can continue submitting requests for Creates and Reclassifications during this period but will only be processed after August 2. Compensation actions such as in-grade hires, salary transfers, promotional increases, pay band adjustments, and temporary recruitment differentials can proceed without restriction.

To implement changes in SHARE recruitment due to Job Architecture, there will be a brief pause in creating new job postings. The last day for various posting types has been specified: continuous postings end on June 30 for a 30-day duration and July 9 for a 21-day duration; standard postings end on July 25 for five days, July 23 for seven days, July 20 for ten days, and July 16 for fourteen days. New postings should not be created after July 25 but can resume after August 1.
