Deb Haaland for New Mexico's campaign has reported a record-breaking fundraising achievement, gathering nearly $3 million in contributions since the campaign's inception less than two months ago. Over 39,000 donors from all 33 counties across New Mexico have contributed, marking the largest fundraising haul in the state's gubernatorial race history.

Haaland's campaign emphasizes issues such as reducing costs, addressing healthcare shortages, combating crime, and enhancing education. A significant portion of her supporters includes teachers, healthcare professionals, legal experts, and retirees, reflecting her broad appeal. It was reported that the average online contribution is under $40, with over 97.5% of donations being less than $100. Additionally, more than 2,900 supporters have committed to recurring contributions that amount to over $45,000, reflecting strong grassroots backing.

Deb Haaland stated, "Every New Mexican deserves the opportunity to thrive, but for decades, the system has held us back and slowed us down. I’ve never been afraid of hard work, and I’m ready to bring the change we need and tackle our challenges head-on as governor." She expressed gratitude to her supporters, adding, "I’m grateful that so many New Mexicans have donated their hard-earned dollars to my campaign, and I’m committed to continuing my grassroots campaign, speaking truth to power, and making our shared vision for New Mexico a reality."

In the past month, Haaland concluded a campaign launch tour that spanned 19 counties with an attendance of nearly 4,000 people, including areas that previously supported former President Donald Trump. The campaign has garnered endorsements from notable figures such as civil rights activist Dolores Huerta, Senator Ben Ray Luján, and Representatives Teresa Leger Fernandez, Melanie Stansbury, and Gabe Vasquez, in addition to support from over 80 local leaders and organizations.
